We are seeking a proactive Senior Executive, Technical to support laboratory teaching operations within a Bioengineering environment. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on laboratory experience who are passionate about supporting education, laboratory management, and scientific research activities.

• Contract Duration: 1-year
• Salary: Up to $4,200 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching laboratories in Biomolecular & Cellular Engineering, including:PCRPlasmid IsolationImage & Microscopy TechnologyBacterial & Cell CultureCell Labelling & Visualization
• Prepare laboratory materials, conduct lab trials, revise laboratory manuals, and supervise practical laboratory sessions.
• Coordinate laboratory schedules, student groupings, attendance records, and make-up sessions.
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of laboratory teaching experiments.
• Provide technical and logistical support for student projects, competitions, and innovation activities.
• Manage laboratory consumables, inventory, procurement, and budget tracking.
• Coordinate equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and repairs with vendors.
• Conduct user training and guide students and new users on laboratory equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory chemicals, equipment, consumables, and maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer and School Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• Experience handling, operating and maintaining scientific & laboratory equipment such as Micro plate reader, Gel imager, microscope, Autoclave, Rheometer, etc.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
