Role Description The Video Editor role at Roundtable Media is a full-time, hybrid position based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video footage for commercial and online campaigns, assembling narrative and visual sequences, and preparing multiple versions of content for different platforms. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with team members to refine concepts, add motion graphics or basic visual effects when needed, and ensure brand consistency. The role also involves organizing and managing media assets, maintaining a high standard of quality and timeliness on all projects as well as helping out on set on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including experience with industry-standard editing software. Familiarity with Adobe software is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand identity.
• Relevant experience in commercial or online content production, preferably within a creative studio or agency environment.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to meet deadlines in a collaborative setting.
• Additional understanding of pre-production and production workflows and able to fill in gaps in roles depending on the set needs.
• Good communication skills and comfort working in a hybrid arrangement in Petaling Jaya.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work; formal education in film, media, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
