Company Description COYS Affluence is a business consultancy firm and solutions provider that supports multinational companies with their Learning and Development needs. The specialized team serves as an external learning administrator, managing training for a workforce of around 12,000 individuals in Malaysia each year, while also supporting international clients. As training providers, COYS Affluence focuses on upskilling local talent and improving workforce efficiency. The company collaborates with certification bodies to enhance local manpower and contributes to the national agenda of reducing reliance on foreign workers through customized programs.
Role Description The Junior Trainer is a full-time, hybrid role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of on-site training delivery and work-from-home tasks. This role involves assisting in the design and delivery of training programs, facilitating workshops and learning sessions, and supporting learners before, during, and after training. The Junior Trainer will help prepare training materials, coordinate schedules, and gather feedback to improve program effectiveness. Responsibilities also include maintaining training records, supporting senior trainers, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth execution of Learning and Development initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate training sessions, engage participants, and adapt delivery style to different audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and respond to learner questions effectively.
  • Basic skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating training logistics, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Comfort with digital tools and learning platforms, including video conferencing, presentation software, and learning management systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment, managing time and responsibilities effectively.
  • Interest in Learning and Development and willingness to grow into more advanced training and instructional design responsibilities.
  • Relevant academic background in Education, Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in training, coaching, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
