About the Job
To independently support department operations by performing certificate servicing and processing activities in accordance with established procedures, service standards, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures timely and accurate processing of servicing requests, particularly Non-Disclosure, while maintaining strong operational discipline, data integrity, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Major Alteration - Non Disclosure accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all required information is verified and aligned with supporting documents and system records.
- Perform certificate servicing and processing activities in accordance with established procedures, service standards, and operational guidelines.
- Prepare and issue customer letters and communications with accuracy, clarity, and compliance with approved templates and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry and processing prior to completion of transactions.
- Take ownership of assigned cases and ensure timely resolution within defined SLA/TAT, while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Apply sound judgement and logical assessment in handling requests, and escalate unusual, complex, or high-risk cases in a timely manner.
- Ensure all cases are properly recorded, tracked, and updated in the system, with complete documentation maintained for monitoring and quality purposes.
- Maintain awareness of internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Shariah guidelines in handling customer information and processing servicing requests.
- Support other certificate processing activities, including but not limited to non-disclosure cases, major alterations, and related servicing transactions.
- Support system-related initiatives, including participation in UAT, validation, and highlighting any issues or discrepancies identified during testing or daily operations.
- Support team operations and provide assistance across functions where required, including customer follow-up or calls.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain effective teamwork and operational efficiency.
- Participate in operational briefings, training, and process updates as required.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by Management from time to time.
We are looking for people who
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; professional insurance/takaful qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance/takaful operations, with exposure to certificate servicing or processing.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and quality in processing.
- Ability to work independently with good discipline and accountability in meeting turnaround time requirements.
- Good analytical and logical thinking skills in assessing requests and identifying discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of operational processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Good communication skills for coordination and customer follow-up when required.
- Willingness to learn and participate in system-related activities, including UAT and process improvements.
