About Us

City University Malaysia is a premier private university with over 40 years of excellence in higher education. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to expand our corporate training and professional development portfolio by building strong partnerships with businesses, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for corporate training, executive education, and professional development programme.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and industry partners.
• Conduct training needs analysis and recommend tailored learning solutions to meet clients' business objectives.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and customized training solutions to prospective clients.
• Promote City University Malaysia's training services and achieve business development targets.
• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of training programmes, including planning, scheduling, trainer coordination, and post-training evaluation.
• Develop strategic partnerships to expand the University's training portfolio and market reach.
• Monitor programme performance, client satisfaction, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain a client database while actively generating new business opportunities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, Corporate Training, Learning & Development, Executive Education, or a related field.
• Candidates from training providers, learning & development consultancies, HRD Corp registered training centres, recruitment agencies, education providers, or other B2B service industries are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in selling corporate training, professional development programmes, HRD Corp claimable training, or learning solutions will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about developing new business opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
