Fortis Star Hiring! Full Time Electrical Technician (Johor Bahru) in Johor - Ricebowl

• Responsible for the general repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the batching plant, machinery, electrical systems, and related equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, routine inspections, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs to ensure that plant equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults involving motors, control panels, starters, contactors, relays, sensors, switches, cables, wiring, and other electrical components.
• Perform hands-on mechanical repair work, including welding, gas cutting, fitting, dismantling, and replacement of equipment components when necessary.
• Trouble-shooting and rectifying problems with the machines and equipment daily
• Inspect electrical equipment and machinery regularly to identify potential defects, unsafe conditions, or abnormal operating conditions, and report them to the immediate superior.
• Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, equipment inspections, spare parts used, and other maintenance activities.
• To comply with the safety standards and policies implemented by the Company at all times and be responsible for your safety as well as others without posing any threat, hazard, or endangerment wherever you will be when representing the Company
• Any other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical field
• Must be a hands-on & hardworking person
• Possess relevant industrial experiences

Education and Experience

• SPM / Higher Secondary /Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 - 2 year relevant experience
