About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our technology team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will work closely with infrastructure, application development, cybersecurity, DevOps, and business stakeholders to drive cloud transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration, security, automation, and enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Define cloud architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises to cloud platforms.
- Design cloud networking, identity management, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Collaborate with application development teams to design cloud-native and microservices-based architectures.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation tools.
- Implement cloud security controls, compliance standards, and governance frameworks.
- Optimize cloud performance, availability, scalability, and cost management.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD implementation across cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and solution recommendations.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams during implementation and production support.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and design specifications.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud experience, including 3+ years as a Cloud Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer.
- Strong experience designing enterprise cloud solutions.
- Hands-on experience with one or more public cloud platforms:

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and governance.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an advantage.
- Experience supporting digital transformation and enterprise modernization projects.
