Job Description

Plays a role in overseeing the daily financial operations related to fund transfers, processes, trustee communications and monthly closings. To ensure accuracy and compliance with fund support the team in resolving operational issues, assist the manager in both routine and ad hoc tasks and ensure efficiency of all settlement and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities

-Handle daily accounting and finance-related tasks.

-Process invoices, payments, reimbursements, and claims.

-Maintain accurate financial records and filing.

-Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

-Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

-Follow up on outstanding payments from customers.

-Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.

-Support statutory payments and submissions when required.

-Coordinate with vendors, customers, auditors, bankers, and external service providers.

-Manage petty cash and ensure supporting documents are properly maintained.

-Assist in budgeting and expense monitoring.

-Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

-Undertake any ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.

-Assist the team with any ad hoc tasks or project-related work as required.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.).

- Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.

- Able to work in a fast-paced startup environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Relevant experience in fund operations, finance, or settlements.

- Familiar with internal controls and compliance procedures in financial operations.

- Participation in system migrations, process improvement initiatives, or internal audit preparations.
