Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Sustainability Data & Evidence Gathering

· Packaging & Waste Tracking (RSA Compliance): Coordinate with site teams, main contractors, and suppliers to collect all packaging weight data, material specifications, and brand declarations for incoming "Regulated Goods".

· Site Environmental Data: Gather site consumption data (water, grid electricity, fuel), waste diversion manifests, and weighbridge receipts from NEA-approved waste collectors as applicable.

· Green Building Submittals: Collect and verify technical submittals, delivery dockets, batch receipts, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and low-VOC/formaldehyde test certificates from sub-contractors and vendors.

2. Regulatory Reporting & Mandatory Packaging Compliance (NEA)

· Supplier Engagement & RFQ Data: Work with Procurement to ensure suppliers complete required packaging data templates, report recycled content percentages, and outline packaging reduction plans.

· 3R Plan KPI Monitoring: Execute site-level tracking for mandated 3R KPIs:

1. Recycling Verification: Quantify and log site packaging waste streams prior to uplift, ensuring waste collectors provide verified recycling reports.

2. Supplier Outreach: Organize, document, and archive supplier engagement meetings and questionnaires regarding sustainable packaging.

3. Recycled Content Tracking: Maintain progress records on the percentage of recycled content in incoming site packaging.

· Monthly Reconciliation: Consolidate site delivery dockets, subcontractor claims, and waste logs into monthly progress reports to support annual NEA submissions.

3. LEED BD+C & BCA Green Mark 2021 Audit Readiness

· LEED BD+C (Gold & Platinum): Maintain strict documentation for material credits (EPDs, HPDs, recycled content).

· BCA Green Mark 2021 GoldPLUS: Collect and organize mill test certificates, SGBC product ratings (2 to 4 ticks), and system testing/commissioning records needed for the Building Embodied Carbon Calculator (BECC) and site verification audits.

· Document Taxonomy & Retention: Structure and maintain a dedicated, auditable 5-year repository within the project EDMS/DCMS (categorized by year, packaging data, 3R plans, and green building credits) to ensure complete audit readiness for NEA and third-party assessors.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • 3–5+ years in site sustainability coordination, EHS compliance, or technical document management on industrial or commercial construction projects in Singapore.
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore’s Resource Sustainability Act (RSA), NEA Mandatory Packaging Reporting
  • Knowledge of (MPR), BCA Green Mark 2021, and USGBC LEED BD+C frameworks.
  • High attention to detail in verifying material batch receipts, weighbridge tickets, supplier data sheets, and carbon/EPD certifications.
  • Experience managing structured compliance repositories within EDMS platforms (Aconex, Procore, BIM360) following strict metadata and retention rules.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (data reconciliation and tracking spreadsheets) and PDF compilation tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • ·Certification as a Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP), Green Mark Manager (GMM), or LEED Green Associate / LEED AP (BD+C) a strong asset.
  •  Experience working on sites with active NEA 3R Plan tracking and EPCM corporate sustainability reporting workflows.
