Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise and banking applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Participate actively in the system development lifecycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage system deployments, upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless application operations.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues, providing timely root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.

• Contribute to system architecture design and technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, and best practices.

• Maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures to support long-term maintainability.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to system functionality, performance, and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on professional experience in Java development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

• Proven experience working on mission-critical enterprise applications with high availability and robust security requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure in production environments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including object-oriented design, testing methodologies, and code quality standards.

• Experience or domain knowledge in Payment platforms, or general banking systems is a strong advantage.
