About the Role

Join us as an Assistant Accounting Manager and take an active role in managing accounting operations, payment processes, financial reporting support, and cashflow monitoring. Reporting closely to management, you will help drive accounting system enhancements, support budgeting and audit activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys process improvement, technology adoption, and leading a team while remaining involved in day-to-day accounting operations.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Explore and implement AI tools to enhance accounting operations and efficiency

  • Assist in executing accounting and payment system implementation projects

  • Supervise accounting staff in performing:

    • Daily accounting operations

    • Payment processing

    • Bank reconciliations

  • Support management in cashflow planning and liquidity monitoring

  • Prepare and review budgets and forecasts

  • Liaise with external auditors and assist in audit coordination

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and policies

  • Handle ad hoc assignments as required by management

Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in international audit firms (mid-market or above), plus 2 years of relevant commercial experience

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Experience in supervising or guiding team members

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

  • Hands-on, down-to-earth, and detail-oriented approach to work

  • Proactive, able to work independently, and a team player

  • Growth mindset with willingness to learn new technologies, including AI tools
