About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist Unix Administrator (Solaris & AIX) to join our team in an agile environment. You will act as a senior subject‑matter expert and final escalation point for our IBM AIX (on IBM Power) and Oracle Solaris (SPARC / x86) server estate. In this role, you will own the operational architecture, standards and hardening baselines, ensure stable, secure and compliant operations, drive automation of routine tasks, and lead major migration and modernization activities together with internal stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot AIX and Solaris servers in production, ensuring performance, stability, availability and security
• Own and implement OS‑level patching, hardening and vulnerability management, aligned with bank policies and audit/compliance requirements
• Manage LPAR/VIOS, Solaris Zones, storage (ZFS/SVM), identity & access (LDAP/Kerberos) and middleware components to support business applications
• Drive automation using shell scripting and Ansible, support server migration and modernization projects, and act as the final technical escalation point

What you bring

• At least 8 years of Unix administration experience with IBM AIX and Oracle Solaris, including LPAR/VIOS and Solaris Zones
• Strong background in operations, troubleshooting and performance analysis across CPU, memory, I/O and network on Unix servers
• Hands‑on experience in security operations (patching, SIEM, PAM, hardening, vulnerability management) and identity & access management (LDAP/Kerberos)
• Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience, plus strong analytical skills, service orientation and the ability to work autonomously and lead technically in agile teams
