Requirements & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field, or a Diploma with 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing or similar role is required for this position.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case design, and execution.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably knowledge on ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, PCIDSS, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27005, or ISMS.
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent entry-level certification.
• Experience in fuel retail or POS industries.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Document test results, log defects, and track their resolution.
• Responsible for documentation of software issues, requirements, test plans, and test suites.
• Perform different testing strategies including regression, functional, and user acceptance tests on all software products.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Conduct manual testing efforts where automation is not feasible
• Work with product managers and developers to understand requirements and validate solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, offering insights into test progress and potential risks.
• Communicate the delivery status of individual tickets to the team lead.
• Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining test environments and relevant documentation.
