Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure effective planning, progress tracking, and reporting throughout the EPCIC project lifecycle. The role supports project execution by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones safely, efficiently, and within the approved schedule.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Establish project baseline schedule, milestones, critical path, and key deliverables in alignment with project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, identify delays, constraints, and potential risks, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions.
  • Collect, analyse, and validate progress updates from engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports, including schedule updates, progress measurement, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and performance analysis.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment of activities, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Track engineering deliverables, procurement activities, material status, fabrication progress, inspection activities, installation, testing, and commissioning readiness.
  • Support preparation of recovery schedules, delay analysis, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions where required.
  • Identify schedule-related risks and provide early warnings to project management for timely resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement of project planning, monitoring, and reporting processes.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within Oil & Gas, EPC, EPCIC, or fabrication projects.
  • Experience in modular, skid package, brownfield, or offshore projects is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project with good understanding of project control practices.
