JustShip is a Singapore-based cross-border shipping company helping individuals and small businesses ship from Singapore to more than 200 countries. We combine hands-on logistics, software and AI to make international shipping simpler—from booking and packing to customs and delivery issues.
We are looking for a teammate who enjoys helping customers, catching small details and improving how work gets done. You do not need to know how to code or have previous AI experience. You will receive guidance from our CS-Ops Lead and learn our tools and shipping processes on the job.
This is a practical customer and shipment operations role. Because JustShip uses AI in its customer-service workflows, you will also help our CS-Ops Lead check the system's work, capture mistakes and improve the processes and information behind it.
What you will do
Customer and shipment operations
- Reply to customers through chat, WhatsApp and email with clear and empathetic updates.
- Investigate tracking, customs, collection, delivery, billing and claims-related questions using our internal tools.
- Coordinate with carriers and teammates, keep accurate notes and follow through until each case is resolved or handed over properly.
- Support day-to-day shipment processing when needed, including receiving, weighing, measuring, labelling and packing parcels. Heavier or awkward items are handled as a team.
- Use real cases to identify gaps in our systems, processes and customer communication.
Improving our AI-assisted operations
- Work with our CS-Ops Lead to review selected AI-generated replies and flag mistakes or unusual cases encountered during daily work.
- Help turn recurring questions and failures into test cases, FAQ improvements and clearer internal playbooks.
- Test workflow changes and record whether they work correctly in real operating situations.
You may be a good fit if you
- Write clear English and can adjust your tone when helping customers through English-language chat and email.
- Are patient and service-oriented, including when a customer is worried or frustrated.
- Notice small inconsistencies and can perform repeated checks without becoming careless.
- Follow through reliably, keep good records and flag mistakes early.
- Are comfortable learning browser-based tools and practical AI systems.
- Take feedback well, ask questions when unsure and enjoy improving a process after learning how it works.
- Can work onsite at 18 Howard Road from Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm.
We care more about your communication, judgement, reliability and willingness to learn than a particular academic background. Fresh graduates, career switchers and applicants with relevant experience are all welcome.
What you will learn
- How cross-border shipping, customs and carrier issue resolution work in practice.
- How a small company evaluates and improves an AI customer-service system using real operating data.
- How to turn customer problems into better workflows, documentation and product improvements.
- How customer service, physical operations and software fit together in an end-to-end logistics business.
