Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair of CNC machines and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Diagnose machine faults and implement effective corrective actions to ensure smooth production operations.
- Develop, review, and improve maintenance procedures to enhance equipment reliability.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines, tools, and equipment are safe and operating efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety and health standards.
- Coach and support maintenance technicians to strengthen technical skills and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance or a CNC machining environment.
- Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, and Heidenhain.
- Good understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC, Star-Delta, PLC), mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the CNC machining industry is an added advantage.
