Company Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Delivery Manager with deep expertise in building Python / Pyspark data engineering solutions for a critical Trade Surveillance project built on Q KDB and Python / Pyspark.

Job Summary

Lead and manage a team of developers to deliver Python/Pyspark data engineering solutions for a critical Trade Surveillance project, collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging Gen AI to enhance productivity and delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide Python developers and automation engineers to build high-quality data engineering products
• Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve code quality and team performance
• Manage and coordinate a team of 30+ developers and automation engineers to meet project goals
• Develop and execute delivery plans in collaboration with Bank stakeholders to ensure timely project completion
• Oversee RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management to mitigate project risks
• Implement and leverage Generative AI solutions to enhance productivity and improve delivery outcomes

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Python developer or architect
• Proven skills in managing people and stakeholders effectively to drive project success
• Verified ability to design and build Generative AI utilities and agents to support project objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in trade surveillance or other banking/compliance domains
