What's This Role About

We’re looking for a confident UAT Analyst to join our team on a 2-year contract. This role is suited for someone with 1–3 years of testing experience who is ready to take ownership of UAT activities across our Commercial and Consumer business lines, working closely with the UAT & Data Analytics Manager and project stakeholders.

You’ll work alongside our UAT & Data Analytics Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day testing activities. Insurance/Finance experience preferred — if you’re detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing your own workload, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute UAT activities across our Commercial and Consumer business lines, coordinating with the UAT & Data Analytics Manager and project teams
• Execute and review test cases, document results, and provide clear testing summaries to project stakeholders
• Own and maintain test documentation on Jira, including test cases, test suites, and test plans
• Log, track, and triage defects found during testing, coordinating resolution with developers and business stakeholders
• Produce and present regular status reports on testing progress to the UAT & Data Analytics Manager and project teams
• Lead Live (Production) verification during system implementations to confirm systems are working as expected
• Uphold established policies, standards, and SOPs, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to APAC projects and cross-functional initiatives as required
• Drive general operational improvements and support initiative delivery as needed

Desired Qualifications & Skillset

• 2–5 years of experience in UAT, QA, or software testing, with a track record of executing test cases independently
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical, structured approach to tasks
• Proactive and solutions-oriented — able to identify issues and drive them to resolution without waiting to be directed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present testing findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and managing your own workload in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of JIRA or Confluence; experience with test management tools is an advantage
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience
• Interest in financial services or insurance is a plus, but not essential
• A collaborative approach, able to work effectively with project teams, developers, and business stakeholders
