Job Description

  • To support ongoing AML/CFT initiatives, including risk assessments, customer due diligence, suspicious transaction reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Massage the data received to eliminate the false positive alerts
  • Conduct assessment (as a maker) on the transaction extracted by referring to information available from the system and other sources
  • Provide observation result based on the information obtained
  • To monitor the closure timeline for assessment (60 days)
  • Assist in preparing the number of completion status for monthly Compliance Report
  • Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) Assist in filling out all client information using the standard templates in the FINS system and the ISTR template.
  • Provide the results to the checker or team member for their review to determine whether the transaction warrants for STR.
  • Manual name screening generated assist in closure the alert for Daily, Monthly and Consolidated sanction Delta by, Massage the date to eliminate false positive alert using multiple identifier.
  • Verify the result from elimination against the World Check, Close the possible true match through assessment. Assist in updating PEP that are not in the Internal Watchlist. Reach out to BU to stop processing the proposal or to freeze account from any payment if it is true match.
  • To assist the team in gathering, organizing, and consolidating relevant documents and data required for review processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and easy accessibility.
  • To support the team in compiling and preparing comprehensive data sets and reports tailored for management review, facilitating informed decision-making and oversight
  • To systematically consolidate and document all communications related to the review process, ensuring clear, consistent, and traceable records that support seamless information flow and accountability.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Data Analytics, or any related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), banking regulations, and compliance principles is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
