The Role
You'll play a critical part in keeping international trade activities fully compliant with export regulations and sanctions requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Screening customers, partners, and related entities prior to order processing, maintaining accurate records
- Identifying and escalating compliance risks before they impact operations
- Collaborating with a global compliance function to track designated country lists and dual-use item classifications
- Providing advisory support on customs documentation, trade finance instruments, and duty optimisation programmes
- Training commercial and operational teams on export control policies and procedures
- Approving compliance-cleared customers within CRM and ERP platforms for day-to-day business
A detail-driven compliance professional with sharp risk awareness and the confidence to influence without authority.
- Degree or Master's in International Business or an equivalent compliance qualification
- At least 5 years' hands-on experience in export control and trade compliance
- Strong working knowledge of ASEAN customs procedures and incoterms
- Calm under pressure, with the integrity to always do what's right
- Proven ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across a complex organisation
