Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in the F&B, retail, hospitality, or multi-outlet environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labour legislation, and statutory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll administration, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking management and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
ResponsibilitiesHuman Resource Operations
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Oversee payroll administration, employee benefits, and statutory compliance, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax requirements.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation remain compliant with current labour regulations.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive performance management processes, employee development programmes, and training initiatives.
- Provide HR guidance and support to management on workforce planning and employee matters.
Workforce Planning & Business Partnership
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment strategies, and headcount planning across multiple operational locations.
- Work closely with management to develop effective people strategies that support business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide strategic HR support across the organisation.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and all relevant statutory requirements.
- Review and improve HR policies, SOPs, and operational processes.
- Support organisational growth through continuous improvement initiatives and best HR practices.
