Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Database Specialist to manage, optimize, and support enterprise database systems. The role focuses on database performance, availability, security, and providing technical solutions to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and stability.
• Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, optimization, and upgrades.
• Support database projects, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Implement database security, backup, and data protection practices.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to provide database solutions.
• Analyze technical issues and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies and best practices to enhance database efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong experience in database management, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with High Availability (HA), Availability Groups (AG), clustering, or standalone database environments.
• Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and data protection.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and ServiceNow incident management is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,300.00 per month
