Responsibility

1) Ensuring all site construction are follow strictly to consultant specification;

2) Reporting of any discrepancies of drawing to project manager;

3) To plan, organize, manage and co-ordinate site activities to ensure smooth progress as per program;

4) Assisting project manager attend site meeting and report to project manager accordingly.

5) Overseeing the project's direction and ensuring it meets the client's requirements. This includes planning the project schedule and ensuring it's handed over on time.

6) Ensuring the site is safe, including making safety inspections.

7) Maintaining quality control procedures.

8) Coordinating and supervising construction workers.

9) Liaising with the client, other construction professionals, and sometimes members of the public.

10) Reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.

11) Assessing and minimizing risk.

12) Ensuring compliance with relevant government regulations, laws, acts, and company business ethical standards.

13) Helping to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licenses.

What we're looking for

1) Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

2) Minimum 2-5 years and above experience in the construction industry.

3) Proven experience managing the full project life cycle from start to completion.

4) Strong knowledge of construction methods, procedures, project coordination, quality control and site safety regulations.

5) Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and contracts.

6) Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

7) Ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors effectively.

8) Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
