Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Building Maintenance professional to join our property management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and safety of the building and its facilities. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant working experience in property or facilities management will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of building services, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, or attend emergency call-outs when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the building, common areas, and facilities to ensure they are well maintained.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, lifts, fire protection, and mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for maintenance, repair, and servicing works.
• Attend to residents' complaints and maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot maintenance issues where applicable.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service schedules.
• Ensure all maintenance works comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance tools and materials and request replenishment when necessary.
• Assist in emergency situations and ensure the building remains safe and operational.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in property management, facilities management, or building maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and building management systems.
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and building maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
