JOB DESCRIPTION
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible with payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for numbers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation and processing of payroll of indirect labour .
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintaining a record of indirect labour’s annual and sick leaves
- Liaise with outsource related with indirect labour’s attendance.
- Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on indirect labour attendance and timesheet records.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
- Prepare reports for management regarding payroll expenses, hours worked, and other related data.
- Resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues from indirect labour.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate indirect labour data and compliance with company policies.
- Stay updated on relevant payroll laws and regulations.
- Familiar with Infotech HRMS systems is advantage.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 year of experience in the position
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Computer skills in Microsoft office.
- Familiarity with payroll software or systems is often preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email is often required.

Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
