Our client, a global financial markets technology firm, is looking for a Senior Trading Platform Support Engineer to support mission-critical trading and market data platforms serving global financial markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting exchange, trading, market data, or capital markets platforms in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for trading and market data platforms, ensuring high system availability and performance.
• Act as the senior escalation point for production incidents, troubleshooting complex technical and trading-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and work closely with engineering teams to implement permanent fixes.
• Support platform enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and production releases.
• Monitor production environments, databases, batch jobs, and platform health to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse system and market data using SQL, UNIX/Linux, and internal monitoring tools.
• Support client onboarding, API connectivity, access provisioning, and platform configuration.
• Collaborate with global technology, operations, and business teams across multiple regions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience supporting trading systems, exchange technology, market data, or capital markets platforms.
• Strong knowledge of equities, options, futures, or financial market data.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux, SQL, and production support in a 24/7 environment.
• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with scripting (Python preferred) is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
