Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role based in Greater Malacca. The Cost Accountant will analyze manufacturing costs, prepare cost reports, and support pricing decisions for semiconductor equipment, automation solutions, and related products. Responsibilities include tracking and allocating production costs, reviewing inventory valuation, preparing and posting cost-related journal entries, and assisting in monthly and annual closing activities. The role will also involve supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements, collaborating with operations and finance teams to improve cost efficiency, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Cost Accounting skills, including cost analysis, cost allocation, and inventory costing.
• Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Finance, including reporting, budgeting support, and variance analysis.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and provide cost-related insights for decision-making.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), including accurate posting, reconciliations, and support for period-end closings.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment and knowledge of cost control and process improvement methodologies are beneficial.
