Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a WordPress Developer based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and themes that support menumiz marketing, product, and customer engagement initiatives. Daily tasks include developing front-end and back-end features, optimizing site performance, ensuring responsive and accessible design, integrating third-party services and APIs, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with designers, product teams, and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable web solutions, implementing security best practices, and keeping WordPress installations updated and stable.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design.
• Candidates should possess solid abilities in Web Design and user interface implementation.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Back-End Web Development and WordPress customization.
• Candidates should possess a good understanding of general Web Development principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in WordPress core, themes, and plugins; experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with performance optimization, SEO-friendly development, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in SaaS or hospitality/restaurant tech is an advantage.
