Duties:

· Responsible for sourcing and procurement, selecting suppliers at the best costs, quality and services

· Conduct regular and proactive sourcing of new suppliers for better quality products, payment terms and price

· Develop, maintain & manage new/current suppliers and alternate source

· Build and maintain rapport/relationship with suppliers/sub-con

· Review and establish Approved Vendor List for regular/frequent suppliers

· Negotiate with vendors on contracts, pricings and purchasing terms

· Manage Purchase Order Processes in accordance to ISO 90001

· Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to provide up to date information on order status

· Resolve issues pertaining to suppliers/vendors

· Manage purchasing activities to ensure that sufficient parts are on hand to meet short-range schedules for make-to-order products

· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

· Monitors and communicates supplier performance for delivery, quality and cost management

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure long-term, cost-effective supply of materials

· Other Ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

· Min Diploma/Higher Nitec in any field

· Min 3 years of experience in Procurement

· Min1 or 2 years of Supply Chain or Purchasing experience in the Precision/Manufacturing/Semiconductor industry

· Basic IT knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Strong negotiation and communication skills

· Mature, assertive, resourceful and independent
