At Meat Co. we pride ourselves on offering the highest quality meats and exceptional customer service. Our butcher shop has been a staple in the community in and around Cluny Court, and we're excited to expand our team.

Job Responsibilities

            Your duties will include but not limited to:

       Preparation of meat in variety of choices, which includes but not limited to handling, deboning, trimming, tying, grinding and tenderizing cuts of meat.

       Arrange cuts of meat and place them in showcase. Packaging, weighing, labeling and pricing of goods foron demand selections.

       Knowledge of variety of meat and various ways to cook them, so that to educate customers on different selections and types of poultry, pork, beef and other meats, to help them decide what to purchase.

       Receive deliveries of meat and inspect them to ensure that they adhere to the required quality standards and are not near expiry.

       Rotation of products to reduce the chance of any meat spoiling to reduce waste and losses.

       Maintain and clean meat preparation counters to reduce risks of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines. Maintain shop space cleanliness.

      Supervising, motivate and review performance of workers

       Inventory Stock Checks & Daily Stock Replenishment

      Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

      Maintain personal hygiene and shop hygiene at all times
