Software Tester (Manual)

We are looking for a Software Application Tester with at least 2 years of experience in manual testing of software applications. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

To be successful in the role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years experience in Software Manual Testing.
• Knowledge of automated testing experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to execute functional test cases and business user scenarios and proven to work autonomously
• Ability to self-manage and work to tight timelines.
• Working knowledge of JIRA or other project tracking tools. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written/verbal communication. 
• Experience working within the SDLC and as part of delivery teams, either Waterfall or Agile.
• Applicants should be a Singaporean citizen or hold permanent resident status only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Perform manual testing on software applications to identify defects.
• Report and track defects using test management tools.
• Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, scripts, and reports).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Conduct regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Face to face Interaction with customer to help explaining or showing the workaround or solution if there is a requirement.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with SDLC and testing tools like JIRA.
