Job Summary
The Shipping / Documentation Executive will manage trade documentation and shipment coordination to ensure compliance with contracts and timely delivery in international agricultural commodity trade.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Purchase and Sale contracts to support trade transactions
- Follow up with buyers to secure Letter of Credit issuance and advance payments
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm shipment schedules and ensure timely dispatch
- Liaise with shipping lines for container booking, Bill of Lading amendments, and freight payment processing
- Ensure Bills of Lading and shipment documents comply with Letter of Credit and contract terms
- Verify import documents to facilitate payment processing
- Prepare Sales invoices and other trade-related documents accurately and promptly
- Submit all export documents to banks for transaction clearance
- Follow up with buyers to ensure timely payment collection
- Declare insurance details for shipments to mitigate risk
- Coordinate with cargo inspection agencies to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations
- Maintain accurate reports and perform data entry to track shipments and transactions
- Troubleshoot shipment and documentation issues to minimize delays and errors
- Perform any other duties assigned to support trade and shipping operations

- Salary: Up to $4,000 per month (negotiable)
- Work Week: Monday to Friday
