Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or a related field.

* Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying.

* Experience in Interior Design, Renovation, Fit-Out, or Construction projects is highly preferred.

* Experience in custom carpentry, cabinetry, or built-in furniture costing is an added advantage.

* Able to read construction and interior design drawings.

* Strong knowledge of construction materials, market pricing, and procurement.

* Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

* Knowledge of AutoCAD and QS software is an added advantage.

* Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

* Possess a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and attention to detail.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday

* 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Saturday

* 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

* Work From Home (WFH) or Site Visit only (when required)

With our own carpentry factory, we provide complete design-and-build solutions from concept to completion. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities

* Prepare quotations, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates.

* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

* Conduct quantity take-offs for renovation, interior fit-out, and custom carpentry works.

* Source, compare, and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.

* Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.

* Verify subcontractor claims, progress claims, and payment certificates.

* Prepare Variation Orders (VO), cost reports, and Final Accounts.

* Work closely with the Design, Project Management, and Site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

* Monitor material costs and recommend cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.

* Maintain accurate costing records and procurement documentation.
