Our client is a leading firm, looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a growing technology business supporting the deployment and operation of large-scale AI computing infrastructure across multiple markets.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI infrastructure projects, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
- Coordinate across internal teams including Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, Tax and Finance, as well as external partners and service providers.
- Drive projects involving GPU servers, data centre infrastructure and AI compute environments.
- Work closely with engineering and data centre partners throughout GPU deployment, including procurement, shipping, customs clearance, racking, installation and commissioning.
- Manage multiple external stakeholders and ensure issues, dependencies and decisions are followed through to resolution.
- Review commercial agreements and project-related contracts, identify potential commercial or operational risks and coordinate revisions where required.
- Work with data centre operators and third-party O&M teams to ensure deployment timelines and service targets are met.
- Proactively identify project risks and escalate critical issues while driving practical solutions through to completion.
What we're looking for:
- 5-8 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in project management.
- Proven experience managing complex cross-functional and/or cross-border projects.
- Background in GPU / AI compute / cloud infrastructure / data centres or a closely related technology environment.
- Good understanding of GPU servers, data centre infrastructure and networking environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external parties simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with commercial contracts and identifying business or project risks.
- Business-level Mandarin proficiency is mandatory, as the role requires regular communication, project coordination and progress updates with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is advantageous.
