Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled and surprise inspections of retail stores and the warehouse, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations, company standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Identify and document potential food safety hazards and non-compliance issues in both stores and the warehouse.
• Evaluate adherence to proper storage procedures, temperature controls, sanitation protocols, and pest control measures.
• Collaborate with store and warehouse personnel to address non-conformances, providing clear instructions and corrective action plans.
• May participate in training store and warehouse staff on food safety procedures
• Perform in-house microbiological testing
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigne

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Entry level with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply for this position.
• Knowledge and understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000:2018 or any Food Safety Management System will be advantageous.
• Familiar with SFA requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer software for office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
