Network Engineer

Location: Bangsar South (Fully Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months, renewable)
Salary: Up to RM7,000/month (depending on experience)

We are looking for a Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centre network infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
• Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Support routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, STP).
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and change management activities.
• Maintain network documentation and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Provide after-hours support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Engineering or Network Operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, A10, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and network monitoring tools.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Aruba, etc.) are an advantage.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
