Assistant Supervisor, Maintenance

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure equipment reliability.
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Create and assign work orders to maintenance technicians.
• Supervise daily repair and maintenance activities.
• Monitor spare parts and maintenance inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Engineers on maintenance planning and manpower requirements.
• Support breakdown, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• SPM, Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, especially pumps and mechanical seals.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and manpower coordination.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Willing to support call-back and shutdown maintenance activities.

Preferred Skills

• Pump repair and mechanical seal maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
