About the Role

Join A2 Automation Sdn. Bhd., a growing system integrator specializing in ELV, ICT, Security, and Automation Solutions. As a Safety Coordinator, you will ensure all project sites comply with safety, health, and environmental requirements while promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings before work starts.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety, health, environmental, legal, and company requirements.
• Identify and prevent unsafe acts and conditions at the workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments, HIRARC, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Coordinate with clients and main contractors on safety requirements.
• Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Coordinate safety programs and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Monitor workplace hazards such as noise, dust, chemicals, and gases.
• Stop unsafe work practices when necessary.
• Attend safety meetings and provide safety support.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of OSHA guidelines and workplace safety practices.
• Familiar with HIRARC, JHA, and Permit to Work (PTW).
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites.
