DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we’re just getting started.
As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.
If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.
About The Role
In a data center, Smart Hands is what customers call when they need something done right and done now. As Smart Hands Manager, you own that function, and with it, a significant part of how DayOne's service quality is experienced by some of the world's largest technology companies.
Reporting to the Campus Director, you will lead all remote hands and network connectivity operations across the campus: installations, migrations, cabling, incident response, and everything in between. You will manage a team of technicians, set the operational standard, and keep service delivery sharp enough that customers trust DayOne to act on their behalf inside their infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and customer relationship, and the best people in it take both sides equally seriously.

Service Delivery and SLA Management

Customer and Stakeholder Management
- Represent DayOne directly with colocation customers during technical reviews, audits, and site tours; your professionalism here is part of the product
- Work closely with the Campus Director on resource planning, workload balancing, and service performance reporting
- Resolve customer concerns with speed and clarity, keeping internal teams aligned throughout

Why DayOne
Smart Hands is one of the most customer-visible functions in a colocation data center, and at DayOne in Johor, you will be leading it across two of the largest LEED-certified campuses in the SIJORI corridor. This is not a back-office role. The work is technical, the clients are demanding, and the standard is high, which is exactly what makes it worth doing.
You will have 25+ training hours per year, a team to develop, and a company that recognises operational excellence as a competitive advantage. If you want to own a function that matters and be seen for it, this is that role.
DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
