Job Description
- Develop and maintain an overall testing framework, including scope, testing cycles, environment requirements, test data strategies, and entry/exit criteria.
- Create detailed test plans and coordinate execution activities with technical leads, delivery teams, and business stakeholders.
- Establish and manage defect management processes, including prioritization, severity classifications, resolution tracking, and retesting activities.
- Ensure testing environments and required test data are available, validated, and fit for purpose throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Provide regular reporting on test progress, coverage, defect status, quality metrics, and residual risks.
- Support release and deployment decision-making through clear test readiness assessments and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, lessons learned, standardized processes, and opportunities for test automation.
A Successful Test Manager Should Have
- Demonstrated experience managing testing activities within complex enterprise technology programs, including integration and migration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of test management methodologies, quality assurance practices, and defect lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard testing and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, qTest, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze testing metrics and provide actionable insights to support delivery decisions.
- Temporary position based in Singapore.
