About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to lead strategic data transformation and regulatory initiatives within a global banking environment. This role is ideal for professionals who have successfully delivered Data Governance, Data Sovereignty, Regulatory Transformation, or Data Risk Assessment (DRA) programs and enjoy working with cross-functional global stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Governance and Regulatory Transformation projects.
  • Drive project mobilization, scope definition, requirements gathering, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate with global Business, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Data, and Technology teams.
  • Conduct workshops, perform business analysis, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical operational processes.
  • Manage external legal counsel and regulatory stakeholders where required.
  • Support initiatives related to Data Sovereignty, cross-border data transfer governance, and transfer risk assessments.
  • Act as a hands-on Project Manager, balancing strategic leadership with execution and delivery.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 9+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Strong experience delivering one or more of the following:
  • Data Governance
  • Data Sovereignty
  • Data Risk Assessment (DRA)
  • Regulatory Transformation Programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong Business Analysis and requirements documentation experience.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and producing project delivery artefacts.
  • Understanding of cross-border data transfer regulations and data governance controls.
  • Ability to work as a "player-coach" by leading teams while remaining hands-on.


Preferred

  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
  • Experience working in global or multinational project environments.
