Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions and technical designs.
- Develop and support Unix/Linux shell scripts for batch processing, data migration, automation, and monitoring activities.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and code refactoring.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate Oracle database components with Java-based applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and documentation while ensuring adherence to development standards.
- Oracle PL/SQL Development (Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers)
- Advanced SQL and Database Performance Tuning
- Oracle Database Administration Fundamentals
- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell)
- Data Modeling and Database Design
- Java Programming and Application Integration
- ETL, Data Migration, and Batch Processing Concepts
- Version Control Tools (Git, SVN, Bitbucket)
Experience: 5+ years preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline / Experience.
