Senior Manager - Contract Logistics

Ryan Owen Associates is exclusively partnering with a well-established international logistics group to appoint a Senior Manager, Contract Logistics for its Singapore operations.

This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced contract logistics professional to oversee complex, multi-site operations, strengthen customer partnerships and drive operational excellence across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract logistics operations across multiple sites and customer accounts, ensuring service, safety, quality and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
• Manage, coach and develop operations managers and site leadership teams, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture.
• Drive operational transformation, process improvements, system implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, resolve operational challenges and support account growth and retention.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs and contribute to financial planning and forecasting.
• Support new customer implementations, tenders and operational solution design.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Prepare operational reviews and provide clear performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
• Approximately 12–15 years of experience in contract logistics or supply chain operations.

Required Skills

• Proven experience leading multi-site operations and managing operations or site leadership teams.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and change management capabilities.
• Commercially minded, analytical and confident in managing budgets and operational performance.
• Strong customer-management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies would be advantageous.
