Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT


Within the Material & Services branch in Singapore, the Quality Executive shall be:

• responsible for receiving management of aeronautical component in accordance with regulatory

and company requirements

• accountable in respect of AD/SB/SIL applied on component repaired within global repair network

• responsible for ensuring that activities adhere to airworthiness requirements

• involved in different aspects of logistics and inspection operation in the Logistics Center from

material reception, material inspection, quality control to system update and in communication

with different departments in France and logistics provider in Singapore

• involved in the achievement of quality control related projects in his/her area of competency in

coordination with different departments in France and Singapore. He/she may also be involved in

any local process design to implementation.


OVERALL OBJECTIVES

Quality Executive is a major contributor to logistics center operations achievement. He/She contributes to achieving customer satisfaction and airworthiness requirements fulfilment. This job requires an awareness of compliance/safety risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as a cornerstone for the Company’s success and reputation.


MAIN INTERFACES

Internal:

Head of Remote Service Centers / Logistic Center Manager

CDG, SIN and regional logistic centers staff

Outsourced repair departments in Singapore/France

Quality Engineering in France


External:

Aerospace repair vendors

Logistics service providers


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Executive is responsible to:

- Perform visual and physical quality inspection of components and verification of documents back

from repair vendors or customers

- Perform system administrative reception and technical control of components, recording,

archiving of paperwork, discrepancy management and provide despatch instruction

- Report any Suspected Unapproved Parts to Quality Engineering and Manager

- Ensure that all activities adhere to airworthiness requirements

- Perform system scrap reception

- Analyse exchange proposal from repair vendors and perform subsequent system reception

(including sub-assemblies)

- Provide response to technical enquiries

- Check and perform component counters update in system

- Perform specific check/inspection on serviceable/unserviceable condition component as required

- Contribute to feedback on the quality aspect of supplier performance

- Take part in supplier performance review (on-site local/overseas)

- Prepare for internal QEHS Audits when necessary

- Be involved as a participant for achievement of Quality/Supply Chain development projects in

his/her area of competency

- Participate in any job rotation scheme (as necessary)


The responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the above mentioned and change might occur in concert with direct Manager.


JOB DIMENSIONS

Position based in SIN – ALPS Avenue (Changi Airport Logistics Park Of Singapore)

Staff: N/A

Tools: Microsoft Office, SAP

Normal Shift – 8.30am to 5.30pm on 5-Day Week


CONTEXT/ENVIRONMENT

Market environment is highly influenced by product quality, time to market and availability of material at the time of request. It is a highly competitive market.

Material & Services is supporting 14 long term contracted customers in Asia Pacific and has to provide aircraft parts in serviceable condition to respect its contractual obligations.


KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum Diploma in an Aerospace / Aviation discipline preferred

• 2-3 years technical experience in Aerospace MRO component shop environment required

• Technical/professional knowledge of aircraft parts and basic FAA/CAAS/EASA regulatory

requirements

• Basic knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 quality systems or passed CAAS L11/L12/M10 Aviation

Legislation papers will be an added advantage

• Experience in component repair management

• Good written and communications skills

• Personal integrity, strong sense of responsibility, conscientious, resilience

• Good work attitude and a team player with initiative

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or SAP beneficial
