The Cloud Architect (Kubernetes & DevOps) plays a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native solutions. This role leads the architecture and implementation of Kubernetes and DevOps environments, driving modernization initiatives and ensuring seamless deployments across on-premise and public cloud platforms. The architect collaborates closely with stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient, and future-ready cloud infrastructure.
How You’ll Make a Difference
- Lead development, deployment, and testing activities with various Kubernetes environments
- Architect, design, and implement Kubernetes environments from the planning stage to production deployments
- Responsible to DevOps process architect and deliver implementation with DevOps and Automation tools (E.g. Kubernetes, Jenkins, Github, Jira, etc).
- Lead and take part in readiness assessments, workshops, roadmap/design sessions, and tool/environment modernization discussions
- Lead architecting sessions with business and technology owners as a technical expert
- Lead client demonstrations and working sessions
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in Kubernetes platforms, including cluster management, networking, load balancing, pod security, certificate management, and Day 2 operations
- Proven ability to design and build large-scale, high-performing, and secure infrastructure on Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Ansible), and DevOps automation
- Proficient in Unix/Linux administration (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu)
- Familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and private registries (Docker, JFrog, Nexus, ECR)
- Experienced with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server)
- Good understanding of distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP), high availability, and scaling solutions
- Knowledge of security practices (LDAP, penetration testing, threat detection)
- Awareness of servers, storage, and networking roles
- Strong desire for continuous learning and technical growth
- Demonstrated expertise across at least one core technology to lead architecture and implementation.
