Job Summary
To support daily operation and maintenance of the Electropolishing (EP) and Passivation line. Responsible for all activities in surface finishing including tool, fixture, machinery and chemical arrangement, and control of equipment, ensuring consistent process quality, productivity, and adherence to safety standards
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up parts for electropolishing process according to work instructions and specifications.
- Operate and monitor EP equipment such as tanks, rectifiers, filters, and agitation systems.
- Check and record process parameters (voltage, current, temperature, chemical level, time).
- Ensure proper handling and replenishment of chemical solutions under supervision of engineer or chemist.
- Inspect and ensure cleanliness and surface quality after electropolishing or passivation process.
- Assist in bath maintenance, filtration, and chemical top-up based on analysis results.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and report any equipment malfunction immediately.
- Maintain good housekeeping in EP area and ensure compliance with 5S and EHS standards.
- Support troubleshooting activities and participate in process improvement projects.
- Label, store, and dispose of waste chemicals safely according to company policy.
Job Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related technical field.
- Minimum 1–3 years working experience in surface finishing, plating, or electropolishing process preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical interests are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of electropolishing and chemical surface treatment processes.
- Able to handle chemical equipment and instruments safely and accurately.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict process parameters.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and communication with production and engineering team
