Job Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for Cypark's Waste-to-Energy projects. Working closely with project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering & Site Execution

• Review electrical engineering deliverables including SLDs, schematics, and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and site supervision activities.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, TNB, and relevant authorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure all electrical works comply with Malaysian Standards, IEC codes, ST regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Support commissioning activities, technical documentation, inspections, and project handover.
• Participate in project reporting, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial, power plant, renewable energy, or Waste-to-Energy projects.
• Experience with 11kV/MV/HV electrical systems, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Registered Graduate Engineer (BEM) is required; Professional Engineer (PE) and Chargeman AO/BO certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP or Dig SILENT, and relevant IEC/MS standards is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
