We are partnering with a US based multinational company specializing in plastics packaging manufacturing. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for a Assistant Procurement Manager to strengthen their sourcing strategy, supplier management, and procurement operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect materials, services, and logistics to support business operations.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract administration to achieve cost, quality, and service objectives.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead procurement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement projects and ensure business requirements are met.
• Conduct market analysis, spend reviews, and supplier evaluations to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and supply chain best practices.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to support business and sourcing decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Category Management.
• Experience managing indirect procurement, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance.
• Good understanding of strategic sourcing, category management, cost analysis, and procurement processes.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Professional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain are an added advantage.
