Role Description The Inventory Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in WP Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations, including monitoring stock levels, updating inventory records, and coordinating product replenishment. The Inventory Manager will track product movement, conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation in inventory systems. The role also involves collaborating with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to align stock availability with demand, minimize stockouts and overstock, and support smooth order fulfillment. The Inventory Manager will analyze inventory data to improve forecasting, optimize storage, and maintain a reliable, efficient supply of products for customers.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills to oversee stock levels, accuracy, and movement.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, forecast demand, and recommend process improvements.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams and support inventory-related inquiries.
  • Experience with inventory software or ERP systems, and proficiency in basic office applications (e.g., spreadsheets) are beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, retail or FMCG environment are preferred.
  • Relevant experience in inventory management or supply chain, and a diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage.
