Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), support tender preparation, and assist in evaluating quotations and contract documents. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, and updating cost reports to ensure projects remain within approved financial targets. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to track variations, manage cost control measures, support progress claims, and provide accurate financial insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Cost planning and cost management skills, including experience in developing project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Cost control and cost reporting skills to monitor expenditures, prepare regular cost reports, and support cost optimization measures.
• Competence in BOQ preparation, measurement, and documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant academic qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and tender evaluation.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying and cost estimation software, as well as MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and manage multiple project deadlines in a dynamic environment.
